Kepler Oliveira (a.k.a. S.O. Kepler) graduated from UT in 1984 and is a Professor of Astronomy at the Physics Institute of the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil. The photo to the right is of my wife Fátima and daughter Karina.

Fátima and I have written a detailed text, in Portuguese, of Astronomy and Astrophysics, and I wrote a text on Introduction to Radio-Diagnostic by Images.

I work on white dwarfs with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey and the Whole Earth Telescope with Don Winget, and with observations using the Hubble Space Telescope with Edward (Rob) Robinson, at the University of Texas at Austin.
