the birth place of Porto Alegre.
Boat trip Cisne Branco on Guaíba

the Wild life park Delta of Jacuí.

at Gazômetro Cultural Center (where
the tall Chimney is located). Downtown, not far from Praça da Alfândega.
Walk by the beaches on lake
(River) Guaíba: from Gazômetro to Harmonia Park. Closed avenue on sundays for walking and
biking. Leads to the large shopping mall Praia de Belas (in case of rain).
Sunset on the Guaíba shores: if clear or a bit
cloudy, the sunset plus landscape is
considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil. If clear, you may
sight the rarely observed green
flash, as the sun´s last ray. Best
place at Gazômetro.
